Witness assembly in Panama City

Large delegations of Jehovah’s Witnesses from a four-county area will attend a special two-day assembly Sept. 8 and 9 at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City. In order to accommodate the more than 2,000 Witnesses in the area, the program will also be held on Sept. 1 and 2. The sessions will begin each day at 9:40 a.m. and all seats at the Christian gathering are free with no collections taken.

 

The Scriptural theme for the annual gathering will be, “Safeguard Your Mind.”  Sessions include Bible lectures, interviews, discussions, and symposiums.

 

On Sunday afternoon, the main public address, “Keep Close in Mind Jehovah’s Day!” will be presented by Roy O’Brien, a traveling representative of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Call 217-3032 or 547-4497.
