More than 4,000 faithful will pack into the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi this weekend for the 2012 annual District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Presented by the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and themed "Safeguard Your Heart," the convention will feature three days of spiritual growth, seminars and scriptural study for Witnesses and non-Witnesses alike.

The convention is offered in Spanish and English and is part of a four-month-long national tour in 103 cities, including New York, Oklahoma City, Portland and various cities throughout Texas.
Doctor said the event aims to guide attendees to Biblical happiness and a lasting relationship with God. An expected 1.7 million are expected to attend when the tour ends in Florida in September.
On Friday, the convention includes seminars and lectures on "Let God's Word Reveal the Intentions of Your Heart," while Saturday and Sunday will include seminars on love, service to Jehovah, the importance of baptism, and a live play, "What is true love?"
