Jehovah's Witnesses hold convention in Loveland

Jehovah's Witnesses will hold a district convention in Loveland's Budweiser Events Center Friday through Sunday.

 

The event — "Safeguard Your Heart" — is one of 385 district conventions being held in 103 cities. The convention is offering "a fresh examination of biblical references to the figurative heart, or the inner person."

 

This weekend's event is to be the first of five three-day events planned for Loveland. Jehovah's Witnesses have spent the last month, a spokesman said, extending a personal invitation to the convention to everyone from Colorado and parts of Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

 

There is no admission fee. Conventions are supported by voluntary donations. The Budweiser Events Center is at 5290 Arena Circle in Loveland.
