Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The Supreme Court has considered the appeal made by the Jehovah's Witnesses religious community, as well as its members Akchurina Gulsira Gayazovna and Mammadaliyeva Kamila Shovkatovna against Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Work with Religious Associations.
APA reports that plaintiffs made appeal against the State Committee asking permission to unrestrictedly import books.
Baku Administrative-Economic Court #2 rejected the appeal. However, Baku Court of Appeal upheld the decision. Yesterday, the Supreme Court also considered the appeal, upheld the decision, rejected the cassation appeal of plaintiffs.
Earlier the Jehovah's Witnesses religious community had also sued State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.
